The MissionThe PSS (Payments & Settlement Services) is responsible for providing standardized payments and settlements services to multiple ING business lines (Wholesale Banking, Retail Banking, and others). There is a clear ambition to also look for external commercialization of our payment platforms.The PSS changes the organization towards a true Services-based organization and to deliver on ambitious promises, we have organized ourselves into a strong strategic and commercially focused organization around our eight services, where our squads working on those products are enabled by clear prioritization, accountability, and capabilities. And right there, the ‘Squad Master’ Customer Journey Expert (Product Owner) comes in.The Squad Master is a new role within ING replacing the Product Owner Role. PSS works according to Agile principles in self-organizing teams. Together with other CJE’s you have an end-to-end responsibility for the development, and you have the main responsibility for the delivery and change. You will work with two TECH squads. As our Squad Master, you'll determine what is being worked on within a squad (in consultation with your Product Lead), responsible for meeting the Services KPI’s and decide what the key priorities are.You are part of a the OMaaP (Order Manager as a Platform) domain working together with other seven Squads, in a team of approx. 10 FTEs, working as Customer Journey Experts. Hierarchically you report to the Product Lead OMaaP in the Netherlands. The details on the collaboration between ING Netherlands and ING Hubs Romania are contractually defined. Your day to dayMaximizing business value through ordering and prioritizing the product backlog features and stories.Actively involved in the creation of Epics, Features, User Stories and TasksBuild and maintain strong relations with important key-stakeholders (Risk, Legal, Compliance, Audit, service consumers, service providers, Finance, Tax, Sales, Solve impediments encountered in the development of the ProductActive and timely Backlog management in collaboration with business and other IT stakeholders, with the ability to adapt quickly to impediments and challengesEnsuring that functional and non-functional requirements are defined and met.
