Technical role: Skills: An understanding of most trading asset classes ie FX, IR, Derivatives, Commodities etc Programming experience eg Python, SQL or any other programming language (ie Does not have to be python any programming language will be ok). Knowledge of a Capital Market Systems (ANY ONE OF THESE NOT ALL OF THEM, IF NO EXPRIENCE OF ANY OF THESE THEN ANY OTHER Will BE OK): eg Front Arena (Prime), Murex, Summit, Calypso, Ion (WallStreet, Allegro), Iress or any others Root cause analysis of Incidents or bugs Production Support Day to day duties (main functions of role): Ensure that the Trading Position and risk systems that we manage are available and running efficiency for our stakeholders. The stakeholders and users are Front, Middle and Back Office as well as systems that are dependent on our data. Morning checks. 1st and 2nd line support for any incidents or failures logged. Design, develop, test, deploy and support BAU changes ie report change, new report, code changes etc. After hours on-call for 1 week on a rotational basis Project description: The Trading Position and Risk team constantly have projects running. You will be assigned to 1 or multiple projects as part of the project team and be assigned a certain percentage of your time to projects ie 40% projects, 60% Support. You will also be assigned smaller projects where you will lead alone or coordinate resources from our and other teams.
