Project Manager in Constanţa

Position brief description: We are looking for optimistic, passionate, and experienced Project Manager who is ready to drive several small projects, one big project or participate in pre-sale activities when needed. You will be working for Scandinavian customers and have team members mostly in Poland, but also in Kyiv, Bratislava, Oslo, Reykjavik, Copenhagen, Stockholm, or some other city. You must be comfortable working with stakeholders and team members who might be accessible only by teleconference. It is also important to be able to lead and collaborate with people who are not formally reporting to you. Ideal candidate should be able to enter situation where different stakeholders have quite different needs and expectations, unclear budget, fuzzy scope, and ad hoc processes – and quickly take under control plans, communication streams, budget, KPIs and establish positive team spirit. Short-term business trips to Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Sweden, Slovakia, Czech Republic, or Ukraine should be expected. In this role you will be responsible for: Preparation of project documentations, analysis of the requirements, writing proposals and business offers to clients Estimating project, schedule planning, risks management, regular follow up of plans Planning, coordination, and risk management Establishing necessary practices from Agile (Scrum, Lean, Kanban) or PMI, ITIL, Prince2 frameworks – whatever fits project the best Establishing proper Quality Assurance approach Managing changes and customer expectations – both formal and informal Customer relationship management, organizing visits of team to customer and vice versa You’ll need to be a leader for your team, not only manager Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of prior experience in project management or project coordination Experience within software outsourcing industry is a must Experience of managing distributed, cross-location teams Practical responsibility for budgets of controlled projects and financial results Proven track record of up-sale results from the delivery Experience managing teams of 6-10 or more people Experience managing 2 or more projects at the same time Practical experience doing requirements analysis, writing proposals and specifications Experience with several estimation techniques and good understanding how Quality Assurance should be organized and how to get customer’s buy-in Technical background is preferred (developer, tester, operations) Excellent written and spoken English Ability to work productively without supervision and in constantly changing environment Leadership, ability to involve various people into joint work We offer to you: At Itera you’ll enjoy a Unique Nordic Culture, which is a core of our DNA, business approach and values.
