StratsLab was founded in 2015, by People with international experience - alumni of Warsaw University, Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanics (MIM). For several years, we worked at top-tier investment banks and hedge funds in London. We implement projects for clients from the financial sectors across Europe and the US. Technologies we work withThe backend is mainly in Python. There are also projects in C++, Go, Rust, TypeScript. You can expect to spend around 70%+ of your development time in Python, and the rest spread across a subset of other mentioned languages. We expect you to be able to be comfortable reading code in any language. We do not expect you to be an expert in all of them (which is most probably impossible), but we do expect you to be OK doing a minor change from time to time in a tech stack you aren't using daily (don't worry, it will be reviewed before merging).We are multi-cloud and are currently in production with AWS and Azure. GCP implementation is starting later this year.Development environmentYou configure your work environment yourself, and you have complete freedom in using the software that makes you happy and productive. The default is macOS, but we had a case of someone using Gentoo, so the sky is the limit.
