What You Will Be Doing
Working closely with the R&D Centre Manager you will help build the Founders Factory tech platform which is designed to support all new Incubator companies in our London office.
You will be working and collaborating with the wider team in Bucharest and London consisting of design, concept and engineering.
The main focus will be on helping develop our platform but you will also have the opportunity to work ad-hoc with multiple incubation companies from our portfolio.
Ideally you will be a software engineer with a strong interest in developing backend services in Python and looking to start a fresh challenge in 2020.
*Bring features all the way through the Design, Beta, Generally Available, Maintain cycle.
*Write high quality code and not be afraid to test it
*Peer review code to make sure we are all aligned
*Collaborate closely with design, concept and product teams.
*Identify and give ideas to help engineering productivity.
*Be involved with all meetings to share ideas and challenges on best practice.
Candidate Requirements
* Web development experience with Python (or Java/.NET - although we do not use those, is ok if you have experience with them and are willing to code Python :) )
* You have a passion for writing quality code
* Experience with SQL or non relational database
* Curious and love problem solving
* Ability to communicate in English
Would be a plus
* Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related disciplines.
* Exposure to other programming languages & frameworks (Node.JS, React, mobile development)
* REST API's and software algorithms experience.
* Working with start-ups and collaborating with offshore teams
