About the roleWe are looking for an experienced QA manager to join one of the most successful online casino providers in the world. You will be working closely with senior management to establish QA related processes, workflows and best practices, and to ultimately deliver transformative functional quality services.As QA manager you will be responsible for evolving QA engineers to a whole new level through training, mentoring, development, and ultimately raising the bar and standards for the entire quality of the R&D team.Responsibilities:Building the QA and QC strategy to migrate most of the operational effort from manual to automationStrategic planning and implementation of quality aspects according to the vision and goals of the company decided together with the Head of Research&Development and CTOPlan and implement automation testing methodologies to help reach company goals Devise and implement the training needs for better automation QA coverageMentor QA team members for better performance, higher engagement and employee satisfaction as well as proactivityImprove the efficiency of the team by splitting the effort between automation and manualThis position reports to the Head of Research&Development and will be working closely with the Head of Engineering and CTOProfile:2+ years of experience managing software QA team with at least 5 direct reports2+ years of overall experience in manual quality assurance2+ years of overall experience in automation quality assuranceDemonstrated experience in setting goals and KPIs based on metrics and reports of the QA department performance Good people management skills with a proven ability to grow talented QA engineers for automated and manual activitiesExpertise in testing methodologies, technologies and processesExpertise in creating complex test plans;Good English communication both written and spokenGood understanding of CI/CD and delivery pipelinesKnowledgeable of Agile principles and processesFamiliar with automation frameworks especially using Java (Katalon, Selenium)Knowledge of testing web based applicationsNice to have:Passion for gaming and expertise in playing games onlineExpertise in black box testing methodologies
