Our associates make the world more productive by improving the efficiency and reliability of the machinery that keeps industry in motion.Purpose: Located in Romania, will lead and/or support continuous Business Quality Management System development & improvement, ensuring the effectiveness of our business processes in operating with excellence, maintaining Quality as a core value As a member of Global Quality Advancement Team this position will support regional plants in implementing Timken Quality Management System (TQMS), adhering to Customer Specific Requirements to ensure they effectively achieve the Timken strategy. You will be working with manufacturing and distribution facilities, application and design engineers, process specialists, sales and service engineers, other key stakeholders. Essential Responsibilities: -Develops, implements and continuously identifies opportunities to improve Quality Management System aligned to ISO 9001/ IATF 16949/ IRIS; Support plants maintaining their certifications complying to the appropriate standards -Acts as a change agent, applying the rigor of effective Problem Solving process to drive reduction of Costs of Quality -Enables a Proactive Quality culture throughout the organization, uses & proliferates risk assessment & mitigation to identify opportunities and generate CI actions -Leads and/or support growth projects, working with project Teams, Process industry and Wind Energy as an example -Works with manufacturing plants addressing major quality events, leads robust containment plans and follows the rigor of Problem Solving to ensure no reoccurrence -Ensures data collection and analysis, uses statistical analysis knowledge & tools to provide relevant information which ensures clear understanding of our success and where the opportunities/ greatest needs are Education & Experience: Minimum required Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering Preferred Master's degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering Preferred Job Experience of min 3 to 5 years in any of the following: §Production Management §Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering §Product/Quality Engineering §APQP, MSA, SPC, FMEA knowledge/ expertise §Certified auditor - preferred §Certified Quality Engineer – preferred §Strong inter-personal and team skills, results focus; good oral and written communication skills. §Computer skills using Microsoft products including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel §SAP user experience, as a plus •English Fluent, German as a plus All qualified applicants shall be treated equally according to their individual qualifications, abilities, experiences and other employment standards.
