Quality & Sustainability Manager in Ploieşti

Location: ROCKWOOL PLOIESTI Plant, RomaniaYou will report to the Factory manager and be part of the management team of the factory of 7 colleagues.Main tasks will be:Ensure the internal and external audits are completed and maintained according to the audit schedule including communication with external auditors, internal co-ordination and follow up of actions/ nonconformitiesLead, manage, motivate and develop the quality team consisting of 13 people, with regular team meetings and prioritisation of tasksSelects, manages and evaluates the team members with the help of the HR DepartmentRaise awareness, understanding and improve the culture of Quality and Sustainability across the local organization, with info share of audit results, posting news and general communicationsWorking with the team to improve and ensure compliance of our sustainability standards and drive improvements in Sustainability process, documentation, checks and calculationsPromotes quality, advises and coordinates the various quality stakeholders to continually advance the quality assurance system at the factoryOversee quality and sustainability day to day activities and projectsMaintaining legislative and best practice knowledge and ensuring any changes are reflected in the processes though update of the legal overview and changed circumstances Train new employees on company’s approach to sustainability as well as other employees about sustainability topics when requiredThis is what you offerMinimum 5 years’ experience in the industrial production field, coordinating the quality of production processes as Quality ManagerMinimum 2 years of experience in leading a quality team in both knowledge and project related tasksMinimum 2 years’ experience in Sustainability or Environmental ManagementBachelor's degree in Engineering with a technical profile (chemical engineer, metallurgist, Electrical/Mechanical engineering)Internal and/or external audit qualification(s) with demonstrated practical experienceKnowledge and experience in working with quality and sustainability associated standards Computer literate and comfortable using standard MS Office applications such as SharePoint, Teams and Excel; SAP knowledge is a mustVery good knowledge of Quality Management systems, quality methods & tools, experience with customer interface and customer management in quality challengesAdvanced Romanian and English communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsProactive and open attitude for professional challenges, motivating attitude and teamwork skillsResults/ solution-oriented behaviour is expected, good analytical and synthesis capacity of the obtained resultsHigh sense of accountability and business ethicsWe offer you:A competitive salary and benefits package including annual bonus and 13th salaryHealth insurance with medical servicesWorking for a Company dedicated to sustainability, the environment and natural resources A friendly and professional culture, dedicated to engagement and retention Training opportunities with a focus on professional development Interested?
