We are involved in development of software for the world class inspection machines based on machine vision and image processing technologies. Our offices are located in Słupsk and Gdynia. On a daily basis we are collaborating with programmers located in Germany.We are a part of the ZEISS Industrial Quality Solutions which is a leading manufacturer of multidimensional metrology solutions. These include coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), optical and multisensor systems and metrology software for the automotive, aircraft, mechanical engineering, plastics and medical technology industries. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: ▪ Analyze code with existing computational methods and increase their performance (C++ optimization, parallelization, threading) ▪ Search and study state-of-the-art algorithms (literature, articles) ▪ Communicate and cooperate with different teams (Poland, Germany) to find best solutions to current problems ▪ Present work results during meetings and workshops ▪ Document work on our Wiki ▪ Write prototype programs in Python ▪ Develop and implement computer science algorithms in C++ ▪ Write tests and benchmarks in GoogleTest framework REQUIREMENTS: ▪ At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar role ▪ High communication, presentation and teamwork skills ▪ Curiosity, critical thinking and open-mindedness ▪ Stress resilience and ability to work in Agile teams ▪ Master’s degree in the field of Computer Science/Natural Science/Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or in a similar STEM field ▪ Feel comfortable in modern C++ and Python (1+ years of recent experience) ▪ Proffciency in English (level B1/B2+) ▪ Moderate experience in Image Processing algorithm WE OFFER YOU: ▪ Diversity of tasks and modern equipment ▪ Work in an experienced, international team ▪ Flexible working hours ▪ Individual development plan ▪ Possibility to work partially remotely ▪ Parking space for employees ADDITIONAL BENEFITS: ▪ Free technical training ▪ Group insurance ▪ Medical care package ▪ Co-financing for leisure ▪ Participation in international projects ▪ Integration events
