We are looking for an R&D Engineering Manager for DC/DC Converter Modules who will ramp up a new team within one of our business units. As an R&D Engineering Manager for a new team in Bucharest attached to a business unit for DC/DC converter modules, your primary responsibility is to establish and lead a development team on a daily basis and align it to the product lines it will support, assuring a close relationship between the Engineering and operations group across the business unit. In your new role you will:Build up a R&D team which will support, Electrical, mechanical and Test design solutions within the field of DC/DC converter modules for various applicationsBe the lead in setting up the R&D team anchoring it inside the Bucharest organization by hiring the staff, building up competencies and setting up processes and procedures together with key teams from the business unitLead, develop and motivate the team to provide timely and efficient support based on priorities and needs while adhering to the highest quality and reliability standards, internal procedures and business continuity rulesInterface with Engineering, Purchasing, Planning, Quality, Program Management, Manufacturing, and Test to drive activities needed to meet business unit goals and objectivesCommunicate with key stakeholders efficiently and effectively to assist in key decision makingStrategically develop next-generation engineers to embrace their strengths while overcoming weaknessesCollaborate with other corporate offices and functions to increase effectiveness and efficiency of R&D team As a person, you are thorough, structured and capable and motivated to build up an organization.
