TypeScript (regular) Android (regular) React (advanced) React Native (master) We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior React Native Engineer to join us - BCD Travel - a leading travel management and meetings company. As a key member of our TripSource mobile team, you will play a crucial role in leading one of our delivery development teams on an exciting customer-facing project. What does a great Senior Software Engineer do?You will come on board at a truly exciting time, and as a member of the TripSource mobile team, you will play a pivotal and crucial part in leading one of our delivery development teams on a customer-facing project. You will be a key influencer of the entire team delivery and fully understand the ‘system’, what are the inputs and deliverables and the challenges to be dealt with along the way. We use a variety of leading-edge mobile and open source technology – here’s just a tiny flavor of some of the stuff you can work with: React Native (Typescript, Redux, React, Yarn, React Testing Library) Native iOS/Android technologies (Java, Kotlin, Swift, Objective C) We test and deploy our solutions embracing the latest DevOps approaches using technologies such as Jenkins, Selenium, Appium, SonarQube. Responsibilities: As a Senior Software EngineerYou will work closely with the entire scrum team whose job it is to deliver features for BCD productsYou will be one of the Lead Engineers: a champion of technical excellence, a key mentor to your development team, and a strong contributor to our React Native development.You lead by exampleYou will own the technical solution throughout its entirety and will be the “go-to” person for any of your team’s development/technical queriesWork with the other Senior Engineers to ensure that the whole team is delivering to high-quality standards.Facilitate code and test reviews and pair programming, instill quality with every commit, and collaborate with senior management to develop process & technical improvementsWork with Project Management and Product Management teams on release planning Provide technical insights on relevant emerging technologies (e.g. pair programming, test automation, lunch and learns, conferences, tech design sessions, etc.) What do we look for/who would prosper in this role? A minimum of 5 years of professional development experience with a minimum of 3 years developing and deploying scalable and robust React Native applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to talk in technical and non-technical terms depending on the audience, including directly with customers and senior managementHave worked in a fast-paced- Agile (Scrum), technically progressive software/IT environment Familiarity with design patterns/test patterns and methodologiesAbility to inspire and motivate, improve quality and productivity, and drive technical innovation and excellenceExcellent attention to detail, a methodological approach, a proven ability to analyze, assess and make informed decisions quickly, and handle multiple responsibilitiesBSc or MSc in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent relevant work experience.English - C1 or better (both written and spoken)Polish citizenship and readiness to sign a b2b contract (mandatory requirement )Native iOS/Android expertise (Swift 4, Objective C, Java, Kotlin, Play Services) is an advantage If you are passionate about React Native development, have a keen eye for quality, and thrive in a collaborative team, we want to hear from you!
