Remote Performance Test Engineer   Kingfisher plc is an international home improvement company with approximately 1,380 stores, supported by a team of 80,000 colleagues. In 2017 we opened a Global Business Services (GBS) Centre in Krakow, these roles will form part of the greenfield tech hub covering all facets of technology within Kingfisher working in tandem with our global colleagues.    We are currently looking for an experienced Performance Quality Engineer to join our international team and play a key role during an exciting new chapter in our business.   You will have an unique opportunity to take a leading role in driving the design and implementation of standards while ensuring the relevance and quality of the testing performed, both internally and by partners, into what is becoming a more and more complex landscape incorporating in-house and partner led developments alongside SaaS based applications.    Responsibilities:  Analyse the application/hardware under test, the performance testing requirements and the project acceptance criteria Design test scenario(s) and produce project test plans Direct partner resources in executing approved test plans Build and test performance scenario(s) Execute the tests, collate results from the performance test tool and produce analysis reports Contribute to performance bottleneck identification and resolution Responsible for adhering to all internal policy and procedures in relation to security and quality best practice Skills/ Requirements: ·      Have a strong understanding of performance test principles ·      Have a deep understanding of the performance test project lifecycle and deliverables ·      Considerable proven track record in performance testing ·      Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter ·      Integrating Performance Tools into a CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins, Gitlab) ·      Technical Experience using APM tools (Dynatrace, Datadog, Grafana) ·      Technical Experience performance testing deployments/instances on either AWS, Azure, GCP or Kubernetes ·      Working Knowledge of LoadRunner and Gatling desirable but not essential ·      Understanding of data requirements and methods of generating that data What we offer   In return, we offer an inclusive environment, where what you can achieve is limited only by your imagination!
