We focus on a development of the Virtual Firewalls orchestrator software, which helps customers automatically deploy, scale and optimize virtual network firewalls.Our Engineers are involved in the whole product life cycle: design, demo, PoC, deployment.You will join a team of experts who are truly game-changers and have completed numerous networking projects, cloud or infrastructure automation and monitoring.Things to know:The development team consists of front-end and back-end developers, network engineers and QA engineers who cooperate closely with the product ownerWe work in a multi-vendor environmentWe use KANBAN or SCRUM methodologyThe client is based in CanadaWe work on multiple interesting projects at the time, so it may happen that we’ll invite you to the interview for another project, if we see that your competencies and profile are well suited for it.Your roleAs a part of the project team, you will be responsible for:Designing and planning tests for new features of new cutting edge network solution with close collaboration with our development teamMaintaining and improving a fully automated CI/CD test solutionAutomating test cases using our framework base on PytestDesigning and automating a new environment configuration to extend our testbed capabilitiesWorking in agile methodology and collaborating with a teamDo we have a match?As a QA Engineer you must meet most of the following criteria: Understanding of the test process and its role in the software development life cycleExperience with Application/VNF testing, on-boarded on Vmware infrastructure (vSphere, ESXi)Strong Python programming skills, experience with Python test frameworksGood knowledge of Linux network tools for network configuration and testingUnderstanding of virtualization technologies (Containers, Virtual Machines, Orchestrators, virtual networks…)Knowledge of computer networks and network protocolsAbility to independently configure test environments and conduct test exercises in a creative way using a testing mindsetGood abilities in writing unit/functional/integration/regression testsGood communication skills, English (B2 level),Be a team player, have a problem-solving attitude, and willingness to learn continuouslyBeyond the criteria above, we would appreciate the nice-to-haves:Experience with CI/CD tools and processes (emphasis on GitLab)Ability to collaborate in distributed teamsExperience with any private/public cloud infrastructure and servicesMore reasons to join usFlexible working hours and approach to work: fully remotely, in the office or hybridProfessional growth supported by internal training sessions and a training budgetSolid onboarding with a hands-on approach to give you an easy startA great atmosphere among professionals who are passionate about their workThe ability to change the project you work on
