Come be a part of this journey!ROLE PROFILEJOB TITLE: Reporting Services Analyst P&R CentreFUNCTION: FinanceCITY & COUNTRY: Bucharest, RomaniaTYPE OF CONTRACT: PermanentREPORTING TO: Reporting Services Manager P&R ROLE SUMMARYPURPOSE STATEMENT: What are the key objectives and expectations from this role? The role is responsible for managing the Planning & Reporting activities for BAT International Finance (BATIF), providing quality general analysis and overall business support to the team.Reporting Level: Individual ContributorGeographic Scope: UK – BAT International FinanceACCOUNTABILITIES Responsible for managing the P&R activities for BAT International Finance (BATIF);Ensure financial reporting in BPC is done correctly and in line with the group requirements and deadlines, for both forecast (monthly, but with greater focus on SOP4 and SOP10) and actual (monthly, quarterly and annually);Ensure consistency between reporting systems (BPC Stat, BPC management, CFIN) and ECC. Ensure all Data Quality and Integrity requirements are met;Ensure consistency between the financial statements (PL, BS, CF) and also consistency between the financials reported for the entities within the BATIF/BATOF chain. Ensure all intercompany transactions are correctly reported;Engage with the end market teams, and understand the business requirements, and correctly report these in BPC; ensure high quality of BPC financial data;Provide quality general analysis and overall business support to BATIF team;Monitor, observe and test system to determine data and/or application problems; create, manage, organize and interpret data;Problem solving of complex and multi-faced system related issues. Identify errors and identify solutions to fix them;Coordinate with other teams (mostly GTO) to ensure preventive controls are run, and then interpret the results to identify potential errors; engage with technical consultants to address system issues;Understand the functionalities, interfaces and interdependencies of the processes and systems; ensure adequate internal and data controls are performed;Provide technical advice and assistance during reporting cycles, such as troubleshooting errors returned by the systems, root cause analysis of the errors discovered during the data quality and integrity work, documenting change requests/errors log for solutioning by the technical support team etc.Perform user support for P-Card activity (business cards that UK employees use);Case-by-case investigation into the matters raised by the respective users, when necessary.EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGEBachelor’s degreePrevious relevant experience, ideally in either P&R, IGT or GL departmentsExperience in working with SAP; BPC;CFIN - would be a plusExcel userAdvanced English languageIntercompany mismatches background would represent a good additionProblem-solving attitudeAbility to analyse and interpret data and quickly provide solutionsGreat communication skillsWE ARE BATAt BAT we are committed to our Purpose of creating A Better Tomorrow.
