Project description
Global Data Management is accountable within ING for delivering the services, platforms to enable data delivery and monitors and steers the bank wide data delivery from entities to data users ensuring ING to be secure and compliant bank as well as delivering to analytical platforms.
Strategic Data delivery to become more data driven, enabling ING to become the next generation banking.
Professional competence and specific knowledge or skills
The Road Manager plays a central role in providing support for the portfolio management (ServiceNow, Obeya, weekly status-reports), plays a key role in setting-up and structuring the new WoW and offers support in daily activities. He or she needs to be well-organized and have the drive to keep things on track, to ensure everything is delivered on time and as agreed .
1. Status reporting/Backlog management
Supports the planning & control of the Data delivery and reporting activities. Assists and advises progress updates, monitors and manages timelines, correctly records the backlog statistics and helps with producing dashboarding.
2. Project schedule
Checks progress, updates it accordingly and supports the execution reporting.
3. Stakeholder management
Informs involved parties within the CDMO organisation on data delivery and monitors the progress of these processes.
4. Quality assurance
Supports the domain readiness, leads and monitors the data quality of the Epics, Feature and Story insert in the backlog system according to the frameworks and standards in place.
5. Communication and Planning
Coordinates, analyses and distributes information from multiple parties, within and outside of CDMO domain involved parties on important statuses and states of affairs, including status reports.
Ensures all meetings are planned, that the actions and meeting materials are prepared and distributed on time and to the right audiences and follows up on actions. Demonstrates flexibility in creating workable schedules and adaptability in changing schedules on short notice as situations change. Organizes full-team off sites, sprint reviews, customer workshops and other knowledge sharing meetings.
6. Knowledge acquisition and sharing
Has knowledge of Excel, Access. Power BI is a plus.
7. Interpersonal skills
Successfully interacts with the Product Owners, the engineering staff, the customers and the executives. Maintains necessary confidentiality, discretion and integrity.
8. General non-Road Manager tasks
Manages and coordinates data ingestion.
Performs general administrative support.
Acts as the data ingestion support lead and go-to-person in case of questions of any kind.
