Job DescriptionAtlas Advisors, LLC (ATLAS) is looking for a qualified and motivated Romanian Liaison Officer who is fluent in Romanian and English. The ideal candidate will have experience providing liaison support and administrative assistance to host nation organizations, to include community relations services and assisting in dealing with routine contacts, communications, and coordination with civilian and military leaders at the local, regional, and national levels. This position is located in Bucharest, Romania with occasional local travel in and around the city of Bucharest and Mihail Kogălniceanu Air Base (MKAB), Romania.RequirementsHN LIAISON OFFICER MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Romanian Citizen Valid Unclassified NATO Security ClearanceUndergraduate Degree in Romanian (from an English college/university) or an Undergraduate Degree in English (from a Romanian college/university)If you do not have a degree you will need 1+ years of specialized experience in translating/interpreting and training at the Defense Language Institute (DLI), Foreign Service Institute (FSI) or comparable trainingFluent in Romanian and English (see additional language requirements below)Familiar with Microsoft Office Products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookValid driver’s license Experience as an interpreter with knowledge of differentiations, idiomatic or technical expressions and slight shades of meaningWilling to obtain a criminal record certificateHN LIAISON OFFICER DESIRED QUALIFICATIONSPrior military Romanian Reserve Officer; military service veteranExperience as a military contractorExperience working in liaison support and administrative assistanceBackground in Romanian administrative lawsPost Graduate Education in Law, Political Science, Public Administration, International Relations, or a related fieldExperience in community relationsBenefits• Competitive compensation packageRequirements.
