Trimble is recruiting for a Sales Manager EMEA to fill an opportunity in Europe. Job Summary: The Sales Manager EMEA is the leader of a high-performing sales team growing the business of Trimble Advanced Positioning (TAP) in Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA), Russia and CIS. The Sales Manager leads and develops a team of Regional Sales Managers (RSMs), engages directly and virtually with end customers, OEMs and manages and develops the distribution channel to drive performance against Trimble benchmarks for selling the TAP product portfolio. In addition to leverage the existing sales channels, the role is also responsible for establishing new paths to market for the Real Time eXtended (RTX) service-based offerings. The role will report to the Director of Worldwide Sales but will work independently within the EMEA region with team lead, business development and sales growth responsibility. The role will be based in Europe. The Sales Manager is accountable for development and execution of sales and territory plans and the achievement of sales goals together with and through the team in EMEA, Russia & CIS. Critical factors to ensure success are team lead and development, distribution channel development, intensive business development, lead follow-up and cross selling. Key Responsibilities: • Coaches sales team on strategies, plans to drive new business, develops and wins accounts • Intensive distribution channel development and sales growth • Drive business growth through cross divisional collaboration, with existing and new customers/resellers • Manages and reports the sales pipeline and provide regular business outlook • Identifies new market segments, applications and paths for growth • Manages and develops assigned region with high level of independency • Keeps efforts focused to achieve growth and assigned goals Skills & Characteristics • Experienced, high-performing professional with passion for business • 5+ years in similar role • Proven ability to develop people, sales channels and business partnerships • Turn challenges into opportunities, think positively and solution driven • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, energetic, forceful • ‘Work hard – Play hard’ attitude • Customer travel is required, ~25% of time • Fluent in English and additional languages, preferable Spanish and/or French Experience & Qualifications • Bachelors or Masters of science degree, geodesy, marketing & sales or related field • Keen interest in innovative technology and business models, i.e. SaaS, ARR, IoT, GNSS • An expert in leveraging available communication channels, like social media e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook, etc. incl. experience with video recording and conferencing • Capable of effectively interacting at all levels in a corporate organization • Ability to build long term, professional relationships Trimble is transforming the way the world works by delivering products and services that connect the physical and digital worlds.
