Job Description ABOUT THE COMPANY A well-established producer in the agricultural industry, the hiring company is expanding its operations in Romania. The company aims to build a distribution network in the northern regions of Romania in partnership with local distributors. To support this growth, they are seeking dedicated Sales Representatives to manage key relationships with farmers and distributors. ABOUT THE JOB Sales & Business Development: Conduct daily visits to farmers in the northern regions of Romania to promote and sell the company’s fertiliser products and solutions. Build strong, long-term relationships with farmers and distributors to ensure product uptake and satisfaction. Develop sales strategies to drive regional business growth, leveraging market knowledge and relationships with key stakeholders. Distributor Management: Oversee and manage the sales teams of distributor partners, providing guidance and support to help them achieve sales targets. Accompany distributor sales teams on field visits to ensure effective sales techniques and maximize product sales. Monitor the performance of distributors and sales teams, providing feedback and coaching to improve results. Field Trials & Exhibitions: Manage and coordinate field trials to demonstrate the effectiveness of the company’s products. Organize and attend industry exhibitions to promote the company’s products, attract new customers, and stay informed on market trends. Reporting & Administration: Regularly report sales performance, market feedback, and customer insights to the Export Manager. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and distributor management in line with company standards. Requirements Experience: Minimum 3 years of dedicated experience in agribusiness, preferably within the fertilizer industry. Proven track record of managing distributor sales teams and achieving sales targets. Experience in business development, building relationships with farmers, distributors, and other key stakeholders. Skills & Knowledge: Strong communication skills in Romanian and English (knowledge of Hungarian and French is a plus). Knowledge of the agricultural market and fertilizer industry, with the ability to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions. Ability to work independently, manage multiple accounts, and prioritize tasks effectively. Personal Traits: Self-motivated, results-driven, and customer-focused. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing market conditions. Additional Information: Team Management: Yes, the role involves managing distributor sales teams. Language Requirements: Romanian (essential), English (essential), Hungarian and French (a plus).
