The role Collection and Analysis of license and contract data Import and configure license and contract data in a SAM Tool Maintain a accurate license and contract inventory in a SAM Tool Interpret, validate (quality and quantity) and monitor the software usage date in a SAM Tool Responsible for certain tasks to be fulfilled on a regular base (import of licenses into a SAM Tool or request newly purchased licenses from customers) Regular evaluation of the contract data, purchased licenses / cloud services and technical uses based on the data of the license management tool and Microsoft Excel Creation of software compliance reports as well as optimization recommendations for defined publishers and customers Regular meetings with SoftwareONE Consultants and/or Customers Development of improvement proposals for optimizing the approach to license management based on previous practice #LI-MA2 What we need to see from you Excellent understanding of: -SAM, License Management, compliance, risks and license optimization -The use of license metrics in the context of determining SAM compliance status Good knowledge of the interpretation of software licensing agreements and terms and conditions Long time Experience in one of the SAM Tool’s Flexera, SNOW, ServiceNow SAM Pro Long time Experience in data analysis and validation (completeness and quality) for Software usage and software licenses Excellent knowhow about MS Excel and PowerPoint Expert Licensing Knowhow for one or more specific publisher like Microsoft, Adobe, Autodesk, Salesforce or similar Very good license knowhow about SaaS and understand PaaS and IaaS English Language B2 / C1 What you should really know about us.
