Work ethics, honesty and knowledge sharing are key to our teams and we’re always looking for like-minded people.The MissionWe are looking for a SAS engineer with a drive to build scalable data global services within the Global Customer Interaction platform to have a continuous dialogue with our customers based on their current and future needs and preferences to empower them in life and in business.You will work with our multidisciplinary Global CI Business Dev Ops squad, with end-to-end responsibility for Global Communication Campaigns Management solution that will bring relevant individual communications to customers in 6 countries for the start.It is an important component in various business processes and its architecture brings together batch processing with data streaming and AI to stay close to our customer behavioral pattern and interactions.What you bring to the team:Essential knowledge, skills and abilities:You have experience in designing and optimizing data models (normalization to 1NF - 3NF, multidimensional models Snowflake schema, Star schema);You have experience with ETL processes;You have SQL knowledge;Curiosity, attention to details, ability to learn quickly and a positive can-do mindset;Proficiency in English (written and verbal);Being a team player and sharing knowledge and ideas with colleagues;You have experience of working in Agile/Scrum team or you are interested to be part of such a team;You are motivated and a fast learner;Extras:You have experience with marketing analytics software including any of the following: SAS CI 360, Adobe campaign, IBM Digital Marketing, Google Analytics, Salesforce, Unica, Pega; or you see potential and opportunities in taking the customer communication to the next level;You have knowledge of basic Linux operations and you are interested to learn about pipeline automation;You have experience or you are eager to learn SAS programming and use SAS tools;What are we looking for:To configure, enhance and maintain our Global Campaign solution - SAS CI 360, and Oracle databases;To perform the data modeling activities, including schemas/tables design, ingestion flows design and find solutions for performance improvement;To act as a single point of contact regarding data integration subject;To map the data model of Customer Interaction Data Mart and customize it based on the business requirements, in SAS;To optimize SQL queries and learn test automation, acting as an owner of all data processes within our tool;To implement all mandatory security standards to ensure IT risk remains under control;To be involved in the monitoring and support processes for our application and in resolving incidents in cooperation with the engineers that are focused on Ops activities in the squad;To contribute in development of your squad by actively giving and receiving feedback, sharing knowledge and best practices and mentoring less experienced colleagues;To design functional/performance tests;To participate in releases of software components using the automated CI/CD pipelines into ING Private Cloud.Where possible, to take part at tasks/activities that contribute to the purpose, even when they are not entirely within your area of expertise;What’s in it for youAnnual Performance Bonus up to two salariesExtra vacation days depending on the total length of working experienceFlextime – our own way of workingMonthly budget on Benefit platformGrowth opportunitiesDefining a clear career path on short/ mid/ long term and identify the competencies you need to build/ develop to reach the next level: vertically – towards a managerial position or horizontally – towards an expert or architect level, locally or globallyInternal mobility is encouragedPossibility to access International Short-Term Assignments or Long-Term AssignmentsUpskilling/ reskilling programsLearning & Development opportunitiesAnnual training & certifications budgetPluralsight & e-learning platformsCSR activities: tree planting, coding lessons for teenagers etc.
