Remote - Contract - SC Clearance Necessary We are looking for someone who already has SC and being able to undergo DV clearance is a plus, however not necessary Remote woking with some travel a year - expenses covered What you will be doing: Working with the Engineering leads and design team, deriving and managing system and sub-system requirements. Managing requirements traceability activities and documentation. Leading Validation, Verification, Test and Acceptance activities. Lead in the definition of activities in response to customer change. Participating in the development, building, testing and trialling of solutions. Contributing to the creation of high-quality project documentation. Leading and inspiring junior engineers. An experienced senior engineer with a proven track record of requirements management, validation and verification activities. Have a proven track record of delivering systems into the UK MoD, working with MoD requirements sets. An expert in IBM DOORs. Work collaboratively with the product and functional specialisms to deliver a cohesive solution for the customer. An understanding of technical and project risks and is able to understand how these need to be managed. Experience We are looking for a highly effective requirements and V&V professional with experience in the following areas Must have: Requirements writing, analysis and management within an MoD context Systems, Software & Hardware integration experience Test plan, case and script development for complex systems Expertise in the use of IBM DOORS Excellent customer facing skills Would ideally have: Knowledge of Network and software integration Knowledge of Military BLOS Communications systems Other skills and attributes Systems thinker Able to adapt to a constantly changing environment, calm under pressure. Team player but equally capable of working on their own. Great communication skills. Attention to detail. Management of self and workload to ensure on time delivery. Conversant with Microsoft Office packages. Education and qualifications Degree or equivalent in Telecommunications or Electronic Engineering.
