Want to be a part of our team?Position Overview To provide a high standard of customer support on security products in the NTT Security technical and managed services portfolio, working as part of the global SOC operation 24x7, days a year. Shifts are on a rotation basis and include days, nights, weekends and Bank Holidays.Key Accountabilities As a SOC Security Engineer (24x7 shift) you will be accountable for:•Providing proactive support in a timely and professional manner in line with SLA•Reviewing, updating, resolving and subsequently closing service requests/tickets and completing change requests to a high level of customer satisfaction following defined processes and procedures•Providing accurate, succinct and sufficiently detailed documentation of any work performed•Attending training courses covering products, technologies and personal development (completing certifications as required)•Maintaining, improving and sharing knowledge•Writing of Knowledgebase articles ensuring they are accurate and timely•Must be able to foster good relationshipsExperience Skills and Qualifications As a SOC Security Engineer (24x7 shift) your skills and qualifications will include:•Experience in a similar role, ideally within the IT Security industry•Ability to understand the customer operational requirements •Knowledge across a number of Security technologies (including but not limited to) Firewalls, Content Scanners, Proxies, IPS/IDS systems, EDR systems etc.•Experience of products from vendors such as Check Point, Fortinet, Bluecoat, Palo Alto, Cisco, Carbon Black, Microsoft etc•TCP/IP networking skills•Good knowledge of Unix (Linux, BSD) and Windows client and server•Lateral thinking combined with strong troubleshooting skills•Strong commitment to personal development and a drive to develop themselves technically •Being a reliable and flexible individual•Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English combined with a professional telephone mannerWorking at NTTPosition Overview To provide a high standard of customer support on security products in the NTT Security technical and managed services portfolio, working as part of the global SOC operation 24x7, days a year.
