Responsibilities: Collaborates with Global Business Service to ensure timely and correct accounting entries, chronologically and systematically, according to the chart of accounts and legal rules issued by the legal regulatory institutions, based on supporting documents of all asset operations; Verifies the correctness of accounting records; Permanently follows the financial-accounting legislation and ensures its compliance; Ensures the accuracy of entries during the month and end-of-month estimates by expenditure category, profit centre, cost centre; Facilitates monthly/quarterly balance sheet accounts review meeting, where he/she provides details of variances versus prior periods; Analyze and verify accruals recorded during the month in accordance with statutory/tax and US GAAP group accounting requirements; Prepare month-end closing calendar for both local business unit and Global Business Service; Checks and approves accounting journals uploaded by dedicated teams in Global Business Service; Receives and reviews the status of accruals at the GL level for local taxes and fees; Collaborates with Marketing, Sales, TMK, Production, Customer, Service & Compliance, Procurement, Finance, Legal, Human Resources departments to resolve any accounting issues; Reviews and approves the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, where it ensures that there are no old items and that there exist supporting documentation for the components that make up the balance of each account; Active involvement in documenting controls undertaken by the authorities; Coordination of the excise recovery process; Active participation in the process of closing CAPEX orders older than one year; Verification of monthly analytical balance and old items; Direct involvement in the internal and external audit process, with provisioning the details of operations and business flows, supporting documents, meetings or conferences; Coordinating and supervising the general inventory process of the company's assets at least once a year, during its operation, in any situations provided by law; Supervises the monthly inventory process for all categories of stock; Ensures accurate reporting to regional or global finance departments: Prepares and reviews significant contracts signed. Manages accounting treatment of property, plant and equipment. Prepares annual statutory financial statements and half-yearly reports to the tax authorities (Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Account, Cash Flow Statements, Statements of Changes in Assets and Equity, Notes to the Financial Statements: accounting policies and explanatory notes); Coordination and supervision of the revaluation process of tangible fixed assets within the company; Verify the accuracy of the reports prepared by GBS Analysts on the company's tangible and intangible fixed assets; Creation of PR-PO-GR for the financial department; Collaborates with other departments within the company or within the group to develop, improve or streamline procedures and work processes.
