Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with developers and engineers to identify, address, and mitigate security vulnerabilities in our applications.Implement and manage security tools and platforms.Conduct security assessments and perform code and architecture reviews.Monitor systems for any anomalies, perform incident response, and execute remediation plans.Advocate for application security and secure coding practices across the team.Educate the team on security best practices and stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and threats. Requirements: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.5+ years of experience in application security or a similar role.Expertise in secure coding practices, ethical hacking, and threat modeling.In-depth understanding of application security principles, including common vulnerabilities and their mitigation techniques.Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, or similar.Familiarity with cloud platforms, microservices, and system integration design patterns.Experience with security aspects of DevOps and CI/CD, and familiarity with relevant tools and platforms.Strong critical thinking skills and a problem-solving attitude.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
