Team Objectives & ResponsibilitiesA candidate joining the Platform team can expect to work on the following types of projects and tasks:Creating internal and external APIs to support both data and videoBuilding complex data models supporting operational mission critical workflows and data managementScaling out current systems to support new sports and new featuresMigrating legacy code to new paradigmsWorking with message brokering and event systems to process complex workflowsWriting tests and doing code reviewsProposing directions to improve operational processes and methodologies Key Requirements and Attributes:Advanced C# skills (latest version of .NET)Experience working with high volume databasesExtensive software engineering background - 7 years experience or moreDesign patterns and the ability to define and drive software architectureGood communication skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervisionComplex problem-solving skillsA strong sense of ownership, self-leadership and responsibility Bonus Superpowers:MongoDB or other NoSql technologyMySQL or other SQL DBDockerCI/CD, AWS or other cloud technologiesKubernetes or other container orchestration technologiesPrevious experience leading a team BenefitsBig problems, massive impact.
