We're looking for someone to join our team of engineers and work for a client in the medical industry, being responsible for the engineering activities of one of this client's product lines.
The software engineer will lead an Agile team delivering data acquisition and analysis software utilizing C++ to design, develop, test, and debug enhancements or bug fixes. This individual will engage in technical discussions, demonstrate problem-solving abilities, and present and share ideas through global collaboration.
Your profile
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computers Science, Computer Engineering, or other technical degree
- 10+ years of experience in software development
- 5+ years of C++ experience, with at least 2+ years of experience delivering solutions in Windows
- Experience leading global Agile teams of at least 3-5 developers
- Experience mentoring software engineers of varied levels of experience and across geographies to improve their understanding of the software architecture and development process
- Experience eliciting and writing software requirements, use cases and user stories
- Experience with estimating and planning software development projects
- Experience with unit testing and automation, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment
- Experience with Object Oriented Design and UML
- Experience following formal software development processes
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills including excellent client facing skills and team leadership skills
Desired Capabilities:
- Understanding of MFC application framework
- RDBMS and SQL experience
- Experience developing software for regulatory approval
