Senior Consultant Financial Accounting Advisory (IFRS) in Bucuresti

What will you do: Stay curious, listen to client issues and propose solutions for solving clients’ problems Work on various accounting advisory projects: assistance in conversion of financial statements to IFRS, consolidation of financial statements, accounting policy manuals, analysis of accounting treatment under local accounting standards and IFRS Analyze evidence, identify issues and propose strategies and / or plans addressing moderately complex issues Make decisions related to less complex issues Project management of assigned engagements Review memoranda and other working papers prepared by less experience staff Guide junior staff and other colleagues in reaching their full potential (e.g. willingly address questions, contribute with constructive on-the-job feedback and training, conduct meaningful and timely performance reviews, etc.) Stay updated with accounting and regulatory developments and industry practices. What we expect from you? Minimum two years of relevant experience in external audit engagements/ finance/ accounting or accounting advisory University degree in Economics Knowledge of local GAAP (Romanian accounting); basic knowledge of IFRS is a plus ACCA certification or in progress could be a plus Fluent in English Highly motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team A desire to learn and develop into the role Ability to plan and prioritize work.
