Job DescriptionIntermediate consulting position operating independently with some assistance and guidance to provide quality work products to a project team or customer that comply with Oracle methodologies and practices. Performs standard duties and tasks with some variation to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer specifications.Standard assignments are accomplished without assistance by exercising independent judgment, within defined policies and processes, to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.2-5 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. By delivering software solutions aimed at adding value to Healthcare and Life Science organizations the HSGBU has the opportunity to be at the forefront of enabling better patient outcomes within the industry.Responsibilities: Be involved in the project design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget; Lead customer and vendor interactions, which can include requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, coordination with other teams, mentoring and training sessions, system and configuration guidance, system troubleshooting and overall consulting on a wide array of HSGBU products/solutions and third party integrated systems; Ensure the correct functioning of clinical trial software with focus on patient safety and integrity of clinical study data; Ensure all activities and deliverables comply with FDA regulations; Ensure that requirements are clear, testable and consistent with the clinical trial protocol; Design test plans; Generate and execute test steps; Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and resources; Ability to provide insight and resolution to project related issues both pre-live and post-live; Document defects and track resolution; Manage all testing activities within the assigned project team; Coordinate with clinical services and development team throughout the entire software development life cycle; Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to think critically and propose solutions to complete problems and obstacles; Experience and understanding of computer systems and software application implementation including knowledge of SDLC; Experience using different types of testing; Driven by quality with a strong drive to collaborate as a team to ensure development of a high-quality project; Technical/logical affinity to be able to use tools for implementing business logic; Ability to visualize and discuss procedures and processes; Ability to document and record information thoroughly and accurately; Time management and organizational skills; Familiar with SQL, REST, SOA concepts, and Java; Familiar with Siebel Application, Siebel Tools/Web-tools would be nice to have; Knowledge of clinical study operations processes and clinical research processes is a plus; B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.
