We are looking for an Expert who is ready to share and grow! For this role, we are looking for someone to join Nykredit – one of the banks BEC Poland works closely with. We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer/ ETL Developer to one of our Data Delivery teams. The team consist of data engineers, business analysts and architect and builds DWH solutions on our new Data Platform. We are responsible for solutions on the current MS SQL Server powered Wealth Data Warehouse and are gradually migrating into the MS Azure stack based on the new platform. You will be based in Warsaw and part of the Nykredit team, you will be working with teams across Denmark and Poland. All teams are organized as agile teams with product owners and running scrum. Primary task and responsibilities include: Participating in BI projects as a Senior Data EngineerShaping solutions owned by the teamGathering requirements, analysis and suggesting solutionsDeveloping changes to data models following Data Vault 2.0 and dimensional modelsDesigning and implementing ETL processesOptimizing loading data to DWH/ DMsOther tasks connected with the role To succeed you will have: have an educational background (university degree) related to the position advertised (Computer Technology/Mathematics/Physics/Finance/Banking)are an experienced software engineer with eight or more years of experience in creating BI solutionshave extensive experience with ETL tools (preferably, MS SSIS)have experience in MS Azure technologies (Synapse Analytics)have experience with workload/ solution migrationhave worked with Data Vault 2.0 concept (nice to have) We expect you to be curious and ambitious and like to explore new opportunities.
