Senior Developer in Ghimbav

For the new R&D setup for SCR in Brasov, we are looking for an experienced mechanical design engineer with strong background in working with electromechanical products. Main responsibilities: Creation and modification of mechanical designs using appropriate techniques such as: CAD modeling, requirements engineering, tolerance stack-up analysis, calculation, drawings creation in accordance with company quality standards and design guidelines in a timely manner Creation of mechanical BOM, drawings, specifications and preparation of experimental and verification reports and interpretation to internal and external related stakeholders Perform structural or/and thermal simulations of low/medium complexity, provide simulation reports and results interpretation using appropriate tools and techniques Optimization of existing design by various techniques (reverse engineering, benchmarking etc.) and offer engineering support in order to reach a better cost, quality and manufacturability Take part and play an active role in brain storming meetings, project reviews and project meetings in order to exchange information and improve design Open communication channel and maintain contact with test laboratories in order to validate design or calibrate simulation results Skills required: University degree in engineering (e.g. Mechanical or Electrical Engineering) Min. 5 years experience in working with various CAD tools (CATIA is a plus) Skilled in using GD&T, proficient in dimensional chain tolerance calculation Knowledge of tooling, drawing standards, design guidelines (plastic, sheet metal parts), material strength, tolerances Knowledge of thermal phenomena and fluid flow Good technical system understanding Understanding of technical specifications and test procedures Familiar with automotive parts product development life cycle and product development project management process Familiar with DFSS methodology and tools Analytic thinking, problem solving Technical communication skills in English Fluence in German language would be an advantage What we offer: Integration program in a professional, young and dynamic team Competitive salary (based on performance) & benefits Health and wellness (Private Health and dental insurance, life insurance. sport activities) Professional development opportunities (in technical and managerial area) Stability International work environmnet & traveling opportunities
