You will also closely collaborate with a large, international team of DevOps Engineers (with a direct manager based in Poland).    Join us, if you have: 3 - 5 years of professional experience in a DevOps role Power of curiosity - every problem is a new opportunity to learn or understand approaches Experience in building infrastructure in a public cloud using Infrastructure as Code  (ex., Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, or CDK) Intimately familiar with building and operating infrastructure and applications on AWS Familiarity with one of the languages: Ruby, or Python,  you can use them to automate tasks and drive integrations with 3rd party APIs. With extensive knowledge of containerization tools like  Docker , you’re able to run containers in production using orchestrators (especially Kubernetes). Great communication skills and the ability to communicate your plans across the engineering team. You can explain complex topics in simple ways. Practice with  Linux  and solve common problems with other open-source tools Experience with  Continuous Integration  and  Continuous Delivery/Deployment  using tools such as  GitLab, TravisCI, CircleCI, Jenkins , etc. Comfortable with relational databases like  MySQL or Postgres Fluent knowledge of Polish and English allowing for free communication in business situations   What will help you succeed in this role: Understand the application and infrastructure tradeoffs between building systems in a Monolithic or Microservice architecture Experience with data streaming tools (ex. ETL Works, Confluent Cloud, Kafka) Embrace the challenge of building  scalable infrastructure  under constant change Value  data-driven decisions  and always look for opportunities to produce the right data to make decisions quickly quickly Reading and reasoning about code you are not familiar with is a breeze Programming in  high-level languages  excites you Debugging and tracing errors in distributed architecture is in your toolbelt   What you will do each day: Collaborate with multiple engineering teams and support them in their current infrastructure needs Enable our engineering team to ship rapidly, safely, and often Work directly with feature teams to optimize the development experience Enjoy a mixture of software engineering, site reliability engineering, automation, performance optimization, security, and operations work Build infrastructure in a public cloud using Infrastructure as Code Automate deployment  processes and create deployment pipelines Build, maintain, and monitor infrastructure in our cloud environments with an eye to both flexibility and long-term viability. Work cross-functionally with our feature teams to identify infrastructure, security, and reliability needs and solutions Provide  technical leadership, architectural insights , and individual contributor work across engineering.
