Job Description ​​​Applications management involves overseeing the lifecycle of software applications, including deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization to ensure they meet business requirements and deliver value effectively.  Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain mission-critical pipelines and infrastructure. Oversee and optimize cloud-based environments in Azure with utmost precision. Meticulously orchestrate and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes. Administer and maintain all repositories and CI/CD pipelines with rigorous attention to detail. Swiftly identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex infrastructure and deployment issues. Ensure system scalability, reliability, and security to the highest standards. Conduct thorough analyses and provide strategic recommendations to enhance the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment. Demonstrate exemplary communication skills in all team and client interactions. Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies to provision infrastructure and automate all manual processes. Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure, with the exception of production infrastructure, which is transferred to the Operations team post-initial deployment. Execute production deployments with precision and provide expert assistance in resolving any arising issues. Rigorously enforce best practices in application configuration, branching and deployment strategies, while implementing automated code quality and security scans, as well as QA test execution. Spearhead the migration of applications from traditional installations (IIS or Windows Services) to containers in ASEv3, Linux, and optionally Windows containers. Provide expert assistance to Development and QA teams in application troubleshooting and implementation of new initiatives, such as utilizing gRPC for AppService applications.
