If so, you might very well be our coming DevOps Engineer and Java Developer hybrid in DSV’s Digital Enterprise Transformation department. Here your focus will be two-fold: You will be part of a modern DevOps team delivering the next generation developer experience, allowing product teams to rapidly release new software without compromising security and quality.  You will deliver the high-quality Java development capacity necessary to roll out some of our matured and most advanced enterprise software products to the DSV world. At your disposal you wll have a set of modern cloud technologies to innovate and design how we deliver software and Machine Learning to our customers. You will collaborate with a wide range of talented specialists, including other Developers, Data Scientists / ML Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and business experts to create the digital experiences of tomorrow.  Your responsibilities: Expand and maintain micro services for processing data, reading/writing to the database, exposing data to other applications, and more. Using the architectural patterns that are relevant for a specific context such as event-based data streaming, request-response web services, file transport jobs, and more. Making sure that relevant logs are created, are understandable, are shared with our central logging platform, and that the necessary alerts are setup. Testing your software from a functional, quality, fault-tolerance, performance, and scalability perspective. Engaging in a “guild” for backend developers to share knowledge, technical patterns, and ways of working across product teams. Enable CI and CD through development and configuration of infrastructure, pipelines, and templates that provide developers with the necessary speed, consistency, and flexibility Work with the network stack (OSI model, TCP/IP etc.), firewalls etc. Work with monitoring solutions that alert the team of potential issues or even automatically heals the system Develop self-service solutions to help increase productivity and reduce unnecessary roadblocks Help resolve technical issues in production and other environments, which are critical to business needs, drilling down logs and being able to find root cause of potential issues. Participate in technical discussions, provide insights based on experience, and implement the best solutions Incorporate security and quality as a natural part of the CI/CD through automated code, image, and runtime scanning against desirable levels of code quality, security, and test coverage.
