Senior Director (Customer Platforms) Remote, UK (Occasional visits to their offices) Very successful B2B Software solutions company seeking a Senior Director to join and hone their Customer Platforms division. You will be a tenacious leader, with a 'digital first' mindset, someone who has led at scale a customer platforms strategy; and has led/built a highly performing engineering function across an Enterprise business & C-Level leadership team. About the Role: As the Senior Director of Customer Platforms, you will be at the forefront of our client's digital strategy, shaping the future growth agenda of their company. You will have the opportunity to: Craft and implement a digital strategy that aligns with our client's future growth objectives, ensuring they stay ahead in a competitive market. Guide the strategic direction of the Customer Platforms function to achieve key objectives and drive innovation across the organization. Serve as a change agent with an Automation First mindset, transforming the business operations and enhancing the experience for both customers and colleagues. Lead the transition to an automated, efficient, and self-service operational model, collaborating with cross-functional leaders to implement the digital strategy. Identify and leverage new tools and techniques to enhance customer and colleague experiences, setting industry standards. Influence decision-making at the highest levels, engaging with executive leaders on risk management, financial control, strategic planning, and negotiations. Manage the customer platforms and experience cycle, integrating risk management, budget control, and prioritization to meet their objectives. Key Requirements: 5+ years in a similar role with proven success in digital transformation and technology-driven customer experience delivery. Strong track record in leading and managing enterprise engineering functions with exceptional team leadership skills. Ability to collaborate and influence CxO leaders effectively, with strong negotiation and communication skills. Deep knowledge and experience with Salesforce to drive platform excellence. Excellent understanding of customer platforms across Sales, Marketing Technology, and Customer Success, with a keen awareness of business processes and technical solutions.
