Do you?The MissionAs part of the development towards a “Next Generation Digital Banking Platform”, ING is renewing the Data Management capabilities globally. The Tribe Data Management is building an integrated data management platform for Netherlands organization.Your day to dayEven if you’ll start your day from the comfort of your home or drink your morning coffee in our office’s garden, your day will be quite similar when comes to tasks. Here are your daily responsibilities:Develop ETL flows in IBM Infosphere Datastage based on functional requirements coming from the business teamsAnalyze data, design and build physical models at the various stages of the data pipeline: ingestion of data sources, mapping in data warehouse and creating data marts for consumptionDevelop new frameworks and packages using IBM Cognos AnalyticsManage data using Oracle Exadata as main database, following performance standardsHandle end-to-end deployment by using GIT and Microsoft Azure Devops to build the packages and migrate the code to the appropriate environmentsPerform technical tests to ensure quality code deliveryUse Linux as operating and file transfer system for the incoming/outgoing data filesMaintain the applications running in our Data Lake, monitor the team’s deliverables by incident management and bug fixingKeep the operational controls, which are part of the risk appetite of the bankParticipate in Agile Scrum ceremoniesCollaborate actively in the team of 6-8 members consisting of 3-4 other DevOps engineers and 2-3 Business AnalystsWhat you’ll bring to the teamExperience: 3+ years in data managementTech stack/ knowledge:Mandatory:Experience with ETL processes and toolsExperience with Data Warehouse conceptsGood knowledge of SQL and database conceptsNice to have:Experience with Linux operating systemExperience with Business Intelligence toolsWiliness to learn and experiment with new technologiesEnthusiastic personality, enjoying working in a multi-cultural environmentGood collaboration and communication in the teamForeign languages:English (advanced)Education: Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in an IT related field
