Senior Financial Analyst in Bucuresti

We are seeking for our client an experienced and highly motivated Senior Analyst to be part of their newly formed team in Bucharest, Romania. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is a self-starter, is interested in technology, finance and capital markets and wants to be part of a fast-growing global company.We’ll trust you to:• Extract business and financial data from companies’ financial reports and organise / structure this data within the FinDox Analytics platform.• Conduct thorough research, analysis and review of financial information and credit structure to prepare financial and analytical models (including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Capital Structure, Relative Performance metrics and Ratio Analysis) based upon FinDox’s proprietary technology.• Leverage your credit and accounting knowledge by reviewing and training less experienced members of the credit research team responsible of preparing financial and analytical models based upon FinDox’s proprietary technology.• Monitor and review receipt of financial data feeds from third-party vendors.• Build industry and subject matter expertise and technical skills to generate product enhancements.• Communicate and assist clients in resolving ad-hoc queries a timely manner.• Contribute ideas toward our evolving suite of products and processes• Take responsibility for the tasks assigned to you by your manager or other more senior members of your team.What's in it for you:• Explore a highly rewarding career path with room for professional growth, recognition, and rewards created by a fast-growing Fintech company.• Further develop your analytical skills as well as your financial and accounting acumen.• Learn from industry-leading analysts and experts.• Interface with investment professionals at some of the largest and most prestigious asset management firms.• Exposure to a multicultural environment made up of seasoned professionals located around the world.• Above market compensation & benefits package.• Charming office space located on a quiet street right in the heart of the city; free coffee, tea, water. You’ll need to have:• Five years of relevant experience in finance from an investment or commercial bank, private equity firm, asset management firm, private investment firm, auditing / financial consulting experience operating to international standards.• Demonstrated experience interpreting financial statements and performing financial analysis.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including the tenacity to resolve issues which may be complex.• Keen attention to detail, particularly with regards to the ability to accurately handle data.• Ability to work under tight deadlines with challenging clients.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.• Fluent in English, both written and spoken. We’d love to see:• Relevant degree (economics, finance, accounting or related discipline)• Professional qualification such as: ACCA, CFA, MBA preferred but not required.• Experience with data providers such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, IHS Markit, CapIQ and others would be preferred but not required.• Strong PC skills, particularly Microsoft Excel. We’ll provide:A training program that includes a combination of standardized online courses and bespoke training modules specific to the company’s business:• Basic training via online access to Wall Street Prep (www.wallstreetprep.com) - leading training provider for the world's top investment banks, private equity firms, Fortune 1000 companies and business schools.• Capital Structuring & Credit analysis through a two-day course created by Joshua Nahas of Foxhill Capital Partners.
