This position requires a self-motivated individual with strong software engineering fundamentals to help improve all phases of the software lifecycle, from concept through to live release. Candidate should be capable of moving seamlessly across development activities in multiple tech stacks Line Manager CTO Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities Determining and utilizing best practices in design, coding, testing and maintenance to achieve high quality product Maintaining the application and improving performance Analysis, design, coding and implementation of new functionalities  Creating API for mobile apps, front-end and partners Automating business processes Working on the internal CMS Participating in code reviews and features development planning Position Requirements Formal Education & Certification University degree in the field of computer science, business administration, or another rigorous discipline. An advanced degree in one of these fields is a plus. Knowledge & Experience Experience with full software development life cycle, continuous integration, unit testing, and version control Writes high quality, well-tested code in Ruby Knows RDB (we are using PostgreSQL) Knows NoSQL databases (Redis, Cassandra)  Hands on experience with NodeJS + React Experience with JavaScript testing frameworks Can demonstrate experience in developing Single Page Applications, integrating front ends with various APIs Knows and uses Responsive Web Design techniques Technologies / tools to be working with: Ruby on Rails PostgreSQL Cassandra Beanstalkd ElasticSearch GraphQL  NodeJS + React Git, Jira Personal Attributes Presents a communicative English speaking and writing skills Has a strong attention to detail Learns and grows constantly Loves to experiment with new technologies Is self-reliant, but can easily collaborate with other team members and share knowledge Can easily communicate issues and propose solutions
