Senior iOS Software EngineerOne of my clients based in London is currently looking for an iOS Software engineer to join their iOS Platform team for a 12 month inside IR35 contract. The role is hybrid working an will require you to be onsite 1 day a weekKey Responsibilities:Develop foundational parts of the app, from core architecture and supporting frameworks to the UI design system.Work closely with architects, product managers, and feature teams.Manage and coordinate complex projects within a large codebase, serving several feature teams.Focus on improving developer productivity and optimising CI workflows.Write high-quality technical documentation during proposal stages and post-implementation, guiding feature team developers through best practices.Solve highly complex technical problems using industry best practices.Provide proactive support to fellow developers, offering high-quality PR reviews and mentoring team members.Stay updated on new developments and technologies within the iOS ecosystem, sharing knowledge with the internal iOS developer community at the client.Required Skills:Strong Swift iOS development skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, suitable for a hybrid and cross time-zone working environment.Strong software testing ethos.In-depth experience designing UIs with SwiftUI.Proficiency with CI tools (Fastlane) and Scripting.Preferred Skills:Practical application of the Composable Architecture library (TCA).Knowledge of Ruby for Scripting.Familiarity with Tuist/Bazel build systems.Awareness of the latest mobile security practices.Required Experience:Experience delivering high-quality end-products to global customers.Proven track record in building and shipping production-grade software or services.Experience working with various software architectural patterns.5+ years of experience in Software Engineering and implementation using Swift.Education:Educated to degree level.If you are enthusiastic about building great software and eager to join a dynamic team, we look forward to your application!
