Job Description: We are looking for highly skilled and experienced people to help us build a new digital product and to reshape the way in which with interact with the investment market. We are looking for motivated candidates that show us: Strong, in-depth, hand-on experience withJava, Spring, Databases, micro-service architectures, containerization platform Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a global environment with mixed teams and cultures at different time zones. Excellent communication and English skillsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.What You’ll Do:Develop, enhance, and maintain robust Java-based applications in accordance with project requirements and coding standards.Design and implement efficient, scalable, and secure software solutions using Java technologies.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to less experienced developers, assisting them with code reviews, troubleshooting, and best practices.Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and maintainability.Participate in system architecture and design discussions, proposing innovative solutions and contributing to technical decision-making processes.Investigate and resolve complex technical issues and bugs, ensuring high-quality deliverables.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in Java development and share knowledge with the team.Skills You’ll Need:Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Java development including Java 8+ (streams, lambdas, generics) and aboveSpring frameworks – spring boot, spring batch, spring integration, spring cloudWebservices/APIs and API security (OAuth, Open Id Connect)Proficiency in designing and developing enterprise-level, scalable, and high-performance Java applications.Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patternsExperience with building Cloud based (e.g.GCP/AWS/Azure) distributed, high available and fault tolerant applications.Solid knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker or some experience and enthusiasm to learn.Solid Database/EDW and SQL Knowledge – experience with Oracle a plus.Practical experience with industry standard processes for build, deploy, release and support (CI/CD, incident/problem/change management etc.)Nice to have:Practical experience on Monitoring/Logging/Operations (e.g.: Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or GCP stack)Good knowledge on Shell/Bash scriptingExperience working with Agile Scrum methodologies.Experience in the finance industry and understanding of financial products and business processes.What you will get in return:Be among the first to join the build out of a new domain within the Bucharest Excellence Centre World class support and resourcesExceptional rewards and benefitsA truly diverse global cultureOur values define the working environment we strive to create – diverse, supportive and welcoming of different views.
