Regular/Senior Java SE Developer for AutomotiveThe successful candidate will join as Senior Java SE Developer Harman's software engineering team working on in-vehicle Java SE-based communication middleware. The in-vehicle communication middle-ware is responsible for secure routing of messages between automotive back-end and services running inside a fully electric car. Work is executed in collaboration with:engineers from other centers of excellence at Harman,engineers from our customer which is a well-known German car manufacturer,as well as engineers from the car manufacturer and external 3rd party automotive suppliers. Your daily tasks on the job:Understand customer requirements and presented HLD (High-Level Design),Evaluate presented HLD and provide inputs to the architecture team if needed,Create LLD (low Level Design) corresponding to presented HLD,Design software components,Implement high-quality object-oriented code in Java SE embedded in vehicle's internal computing infrastructure,Assure quality of created software components by means of unit test coverage and fixing SCA issues. What you need:4 years of experience in Java programming,Able to work independently, support other team members,Skills to understand the HLD and LLD and implement the components independently with high quality modular testable code,Good understanding of client server architecture and network protocols like HTTP, REST,Ability to summarize and debug complex technical topics,Worked in SCRUM environment,Strong analytic skills and willingness to develop in Java SE,Familiarity with automotive standards like CAN and Autosar is a plus,Familiarity with standards TCP/IP, Ethernet, SOCKS and MQTT is a plus,Fluent communication in English is a must,Communication in German is a plus.
