Senior PHP Developer in Bucuresti

We are looking for a Senior PHP Engineer to join our Client's team to work on the food delivery core, including ordering, subscription, driver balance, and cart core. Assist tribe/domain leads to set the technical vision and strategy. Lead the creation and improvement of scalable and reliable systems. Challenge the status quo and propose iterable improvements aligned with the business goals Your heroic skills: A Bachelor's degree in a traditional science subject, ideally computer science, engineering or information systems from a well-regarded university Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development (PHP) Proficient in English language, with strong verbal and written communication skills Positive, proactive and enjoy working in a cross-functional team PHP Core: Professional-level knowledge in PHP core programming. PHP Frameworks: Proficiency in one or more popular PHP frameworks (e.g., Yii2, Laravel). Database Storage (SQL): Strong experience in SQL database management, particularly MySQL. Database Storage (NoSQL) (Optional): Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB is a plus. Caching (Redis): Experience in implementing caching mechanisms using Redis. Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under challenging and dynamic environments. People / Leadership skills, able to lead discussions with the PM, Developers and Design teams Passionate about crafting simple solutions to complex engineering problems and writing readable, maintainable, well tested code Passion for new technologies and willingness to mentor and teach Experience in measuring, monitoring and improving app performance Ability to ship consumer facing, high quality, mobile products Preferred Skills: Experience with front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS). Familiarity with version control tools, such as Git. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
