Your Role
As a Project Manager / Scrum Master, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, leading, and motivating an agile project team to deliver high-quality projects that provide business value to the organization, its customers, and end-users.
Your role will focus on working closely with the development team, the product owner, and other connected teams within the product to ensure that projects are finely planned and executed, using Agile methodologies in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage software development activities for multiple projects, across all phases, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure
- Apply a SCRUM framework, including Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Daily Scrums
- Own the Agile process inside the team and continually look at ways to improve it
- Engage multiple roles and stakeholders to facilitate technical discussions, decision making, and conflict resolution
- Communicate project status and release progress to stakeholders, including risk management, dependencies, impediments, and improvements
- Help the development team plan deliverables in order to reach agreed deadlines on time, and at the requested quality
- Be the main link between all disciplines inside the team and continuously help them improve their efficiency
- Continuously track and monitor task completion to always have a clear image of the project status at any point
- Coach, mentor, and motivate the project team members to generate engagement and accountability
Your Team
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager / Scrum Master to join the team in Bucharest, Romania.
Your expertise
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Manager or Scrum Master managing software projects in a fast-paced agile environment
- A proven track record of experience working on SaaS applications that are centered around Data and Web technologies, leveraging Cloud infrastructure
- Excellent understanding of modern software development life-cycle models as well as knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment
- Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands
- Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain high level of internal/external customer trust and confidence
- Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on sprint/task details while maintaining the “big picture” product/release view
- Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, team building, negotiation and conflict resolution
- Ability to lead, coach and provide activities and daily feedback to grow your team and team members
- Excellent written and spoken English
It’s a bonus if you also have:
- Financial services background
- Any of the following: Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Product Owner (CPO), User Story Development, PMI-ACP
