With Sustainalytics now a part of Morningstar, we’re accelerating our efforts to bring meaningful ESG insights to investors of all types across different asset classes at the company and fund level.About the role As a .NET Software Developer, you will use your vast experience in full stack software development to implement high complexity solutions, improve existing features and code maintainability, and deliver digital products needed to perform sustainability research and back-office operations.You will be working together with a team of talented and results oriented individuals and take part in the constant development and improvement of our digital products.Job ResponsibilitiesDelivering complex and high-quality software solutions integrated with the existing products, in an agile environment.Collaborate with QA team and product management team to achieve and extend the overall vision of the product.Perform peer review and peer programmingImplement solutions based on requirements in an estimated timeframe.Implement unit and integration tests.Solve reported issues.Qualifications4+ years’ experience with .NET (both .NET Framework and .NET Core) or other software frameworks, database domain models, n-layered design, OOP.3+ years’ experience with Angular 2 and TypeScript, or other JavaScript frameworks.Experience with PostgreSQL, cloud hosted solutions.Experience with code and data optimizationWorking experience debugging unfamiliar codeKnowledge of basic Linux commandsDeep understanding of software solutions performance, scalability, and maintainabilityWorking experience writing code per coding standards.Understanding of concepts like design patterns and threading.Working experience with GIT.About UsSustainalytics is a Morningstar company dedicated to responsible investment with over 25 years' experience in ESG research and ratings.
