Senior Software Engineer for Asset Service Hub in Constanţa

Why this role is important for us: The Connectivity Hub is our new cloud-native product for connecting our Investment Management software SimCorp Dimension to the outside, using modern and stable technology. To drive this innovation forward, SimCorp is looking for Software Engineers with experience and excellent knowledge in Cloud development using Microsoft Azure technology. The mission of the Connectivity Hub product area is to deliver a modern integration experience between our Investment Management platform SimCorp Dimension and 3rd party systems to ensure secure data transfers using a product that is delivered as Software-as-a-Service. You will join a diverse team of talented and motivated Software Engineers with different levels of experience, nationalities and genders. The colleagues in your team are working from our sites in Germany, Denmark, Ukraine and Poland. Daily team collaboration is done using our virtual collaboration tools, but we also value in person gatherings from time to time. We are now looking for new colleagues on different experience levels to join us in Poland, where you can either work from our office in Warsaw, or in case you are not living close to Warsaw, we are also able to offer the possibility of working mainly remotely. What you will be responsible for: You will apply your talents to all stages of the development lifecycle, including creation and review of user stories, development, design, testing, coding, code reviews, writing automated tests, and support Work closely with Product Management, Architects and peers from Client Services to deliver a modern, stable and secure connectivity solution Participation in backlog development, refinement of features in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, creation of user stories using agile processes Together with the team, development of new core functionality using C# and Microsoft Azure Implement new features including taking care of quality assurance, refactor existing code, research tools and frameworks to enable future innovation Constantly learn and improve yourself, the team and our product incl. experimenting with modern engineering practices such as test-driven development and pair-programming What we value: 5+ years of experience in software engineering using C# Experience with infrastructure as code preferably using Arm, Bicep, PowerShell and Azure pipelines Expert level C# and a backbone understanding of what good code means You have a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science or similar Good communication skills and fluency in English (speaking and writing) Good knowledge of Microsoft Azure in production environments, such as experience with Azure cost pricing, Availability SLA’s and security of different solution approaches would be great Certification as Azure Developer or as Azure Solution Architect is a plus Understanding of Lean Agile practices, values and principles are a plus Our Benefits  Flexible working hours – possibility to work from home Private medical care (Medicover) Sharing the costs of sports activities (Multisport Card) Life insurance Possibility to develop your career in an international environment Professional training and courses Language classes Integration events and charity projects Who we are: For over 50 years, we have worked closely with investment and asset managers to become the world’s leading provider of integrated investment management solutions.
