Adtran seeks an outstanding Senior Engineer to work on its exciting mobile application. The Intellifi mobile app is an intuitive mobile app that enables subscriber self-installs and offers enhanced controls for a personalized in-home Wi-Fi experience. The mobile app is a part of Intellifi, Adtran’s complete connected home solution purpose-built for communications providers. Intellifi mobile app provides: Intuitive mobile app speeds self-installs or technician-installs in under 5 mins. Network dashboard provides better visibility into the health of the subscriber’s Wi-Fi network. Powerful parental controls with configurable user and device profiles and usage schedules. Malware protection, content filters, and guest access controls ensure a secure Wi-Fi environment. Available on iOS and Android app stores. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and continually improving our product using new technologies and best agile practices, and will work closely with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure the product meets the needs of our customers. You will be a member of a full-stack team responsible for designing, analyzing requirements, developing, implementing, testing, debugging, and maintaining software solutions for Intellifi mobile app , including but not limited to the following: application development, system software architecture, software test development, and customer assistance. Requires ability to perform engineering tasks for a major project or for projects of moderate complexity with limited direction. Perform or assist in high-level and low-level software design and implementation of new features and enhancements to existing software.    Perform or assist in feasibility studies of needed software development.    Document the design including features definition and architecture.    Conduct and participate in design reviews and code reviews.  Plan and perform unit, acceptance and end-to-end level testing of implemented software modules and enhancements.  Help fix software bugs found during all testing phases.  Work with team to deploy and test incremental software releases.  Organize and coordinate development activities within schedule and product constraints.  Other projects and assignments may result and be assigned to accommodate the changing needs of the department and the Company.  Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Information Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent education required.  At least 8-10 years of active experience. Strong ownership attitude and willingness to drive feature development and integration efforts. Proven professional experience with software design, implementation and debugging.  A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software engineering.  Experience with the React Native; Additional experience with at least one modern web development framework (Angular, React) is an extra benefit. Experience with at least one modern web development language (TypeScript, JavaScript). Experience with at least one modern mobile app test framework (Jest, Mocha). At least B2 English proficiency level. Excellent teamwork abilities and effectiveness in cross-site communication. Willingness to mentor less experienced engineers. Preferred Qualifications Proven QA experience in mobile app development. Familiarity with Wi-Fi standards and networking protocols. Experience with wireframing GUI designs (e.g., Balsamiq, Figma, Storybook). Experience with testing tools such as Cypress, Jasmine, Selenium.
