The role is in the BaseSW SWDT Pre-Integration testing team.Job Responsibilities:Review software specifications and testing proceduresCreate, update and review Test Cases and Test SuitesExecute manual and automated test casesCreate and update documentation for the testing proceduresCreate detailed reports of the executed test casesAnalyze error logs to help identify the root cause of a failureFollow bug reporting and tracking processFollow the industry and project standards in relation to the development processesAct according to the standards of the Automotive industry and in-car applicationsMandatory Qualifications:Experience as a Software Test Automation Engineer (5+ Senior, 3+ Regular, 1+ for Junior)Proven knowledge in Test Automation FrameworksExperience working with embedded systemsUser-level Linux experienceKnowledge of a scripting/programing language (Bash/Python is a plus)Preferred Qualifications:ISTQB CertificationVersion Control Systems experience (preferably Git)Knowledge of CAN testing tools (CANoe is a plus)Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other relevant (IT connected) specializationsEligibility Requirements:Willingness to travel (0-20% of time) depending on project necessitiesAbility to work in a fast paced environmentGood communication skillsSolid English knowledgeAbility to adapt quickly
