Bring your passion to a fast paced and professional work atmosphere. Main Responsibilities: Access and summarize external and internal reliable sources of information for forecasting purposes. Stay up-to-date on key world news and auto industry repercussions. Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to understand, capture and forecast automotive industry trends and infer implications on demand for all relevant applications in the industry on a multi-year horizon. Challenge and review bottom-up assumptions leveraging multiple data sources. Reconcile the ‘top-down’ and ‘bottom-up’ forecasts, to update the ‘Garrett Industry Model’, used for key planning processes. Perform scenario analyses to assess and quantify key "risks" and "opportunities" for the company. Translate information into executive insights and recommendations, derive key conclusions and drive management discussion as a "thought leader". Analyze and report key insights, including specific topics deep-dives as needed (eg. electric penetration signposts, dynamics by region/customer/vertical, …); support other functions on industry-related topics as needed (eg. supporting Investor Relations, Finance, ... by providing zero-defect information to compile key reports). Drive process and tool continuous improvements, together with other relevant stakeholders (such as IT, Customer Excellence, Supply Chain), including the introduction of new tools and processes to ensure better/faster forecasting capabilities.
