Senior System Architect Engineer (f/m/div) in Bucuresti

As a Senior Concept Engineer for Magnetics Sensors you collaborate with a network of skill experts to define the architecture of TMR and Hall-based Magnetic sensors for Automotive and/or Consumer applications. In this role you have the technical overview over the sensor product throughout its entire development, from idea definition up until the start of production. Your responsibility starts with understanding the provided product or subsystem requirements, after which you define the internal architecture and module requirements and then you define how are these integrated and verified in the larger context.By having access to previous product data, simulations and a broad community of experts you will look for optimal technical solutions to fulfil requirements in area of responsibility. At the same time, you will have the chance to try out your riskier and more innovative solutions on dedicated test products, outside of the productive development flow. In your new role you will: Define architectures for future TMR and Hall-based Magnetic Integrated Sensors Create high level models using MATLAB and/or Python to demonstrate the technical feasibility of proposed solutions Generate specifications for analog/digital modules and firmware components in order to fulfill the overall requirements Review outcome of implementation and verification activities against the architecture specification Closely cooperate with cross-functional project members as Technical Marketing, Analog & Digital Design, Firmware Development, Technology Development, Lab Verification & Test Engineers Create and maintain specification database Explore new architectures and circuit, test and verification concepts to meet Product Roadmaps and future industry trends Create and review patents.You cooperate across boundaries and contribute to a great team atmosphere by open and constructive communication. You are able to constantly switch focus from product to application and back, while keeping in mind the big picture. You decide and act despite uncertain circumstances. You are best equipped for this task if you have: Master's degree or a PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Applied Physics or equivalent field. 5+ years expertise in semiconductor product definition, product design or testing (integrated or discrete) Experience in modeling product performance and/or behavior using MATLAB Simulink, SystemC, Verilog-AMS, Python or similar. Knowledge of circuit compensation techniques, statistical data analysis and/or digital signal processing algorithms is beneficial Fluency in English.We value applications from people passionate about microelectronics!
