Senior Test Design Engineer in Oradea

Purpose Statement: To perform engineering design services and other related product development and/or product commercialization support services.Key Job Accountabilities:Develops engineering/product concepts that are high-quality, cost-appropriate, and satisfy the customer's requirements.Utilizes appropriate tools and equipment to perform necessary design work including design creation, design analysis, and design verification.Demonstrates a clear, discipline-specific understanding of the full product realization process (Conceptualize, Design, Commercialize, Manufacture, Fulfill, Sustain) as it applies to their role.Successfully executes responsibilities in adherence to Plexus' engineering process.Produces comprehensive project documentation based on the needs of the project and in accordance with the quality and change management procedures and guidelines.Additional Accountabilities:Supports the Lean culture and effectively utilizes Lean Sigma concepts and tools to identify and eliminate waste while improving processes.Possess and demonstrate the Plexus Values (Customer Focus, Relationships & Teamwork, Excellence, Open Communication, and Integrity).Possess and demonstrate Plexus Leadership Behaviors (Prioritize Our People, Be Courageous, Solve Problems, Innovate, and Be Strategic).Minimal travel may be required to meet the needs of the business (estimated <10%).Additional duties as assigned.Education/Experience Qualifications:A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required; a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or higher is preferredLess than One (1) year of related experience is required; One (1) or more years of related experience is preferred.An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.Other Qualifications: Intermediate Computer SkillsIntermediate Decision Making, Problem Solving SkillsIntermediate Verbal and Written Communications SkillsStrong Analytical SkillsAbility to work in a Cross-Discipline team environmentUnderstand Structured DesignAbility to develop good working relationships with team members and customersLab test/measurement equipmentLab toolsGeneral office equipment and materialsWork Environment:The work setting should consist of an office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and a low noise level.
