SEO SpecialistRemote role in ArmeniaRequirements:Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Marketing or a technical University 5+ years hands-on SEO experience either at an agency or in-houseWorking knowledge on top SEO industry tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs and Google Search Console.Experience with WordPress is a plusStrong writing/editing skills, with prior experience creating content in EnglishPrevious experience in creating content for B2B companies is a plusPrevious experience targeting the US market is a plusExperience with link-building for SEOExperience with keyword research / data mining tools and competitive analysisTechnical SEO experience on areas such as crawling/indexing, sitemaps, robots.txt, etc.A self-starter with the willingness, and desire, to “roll up your sleeves” and get the job doneResponsibilities:Plan new content types and optimize content strategy for increased organic visibility across a wide range of verticals targetedWork with internal teams to research and assign key content topics and optimize for maximum organic presencePerform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimizationMonitor competitor’s performance, run content gap analysis and identify opportunities to increase share of voice and overall organic footprintMap out site architecture and content URLs for new and existing content in order to ensure optimal search visibility and user experienceWork with design and development teams to ensure implementation of SEO best practices (including but not limited to page speed, schema, image weight, naming conventions, etc). Strategize ways to enhance website performance (website architecture, lead capture, CTR, CVR, etc) and streamline SEO processesAudit and build internal linking on an ongoing basis to improve the search visibility for our main pagesOversee and implement all aspects of technical SEO for the websiteIdentify growth and/or optimization opportunities throughout the site and associated properties (i.e. YouTube channel)Actively identify, develop and execute backlinking strategiesTrack, analyze and report on overall website organic performance and SEO initiatives on a monthly (or as needed) basisAssist with content creation and review process to better meet user intent and capture universal resultsAdvise content writers on SEO writing best practices and provide feedback on their articlesOccasionally write posts for the blog.
